Brera is a creature I wouldn't wish even on my worst enemy – and paradoxically, at the same time, the absolute fulfilment of all my breeding dreams. How to describe her? She is an unguided missile: a combination of Auriga's intellect and the temperament inherited from her father, Theo. During the first year of her life, she caused more damage in our household than all our other dogs combined over the past 25 years. :-) And yet, every glance at her beautiful head, long elegant neck, and strong topline with a perfect tailset fills me with joy, and a generous dose of forgiveness for her past mischief. And if I ever thought that no one could move better in the show ring than Brera's mother, I was wrong – Brera carries herself as if the world belongs to her. At work, she is attentive, quick to understand and eager to cooperate. When it comes to cuddling, she turns into the most childish creature imaginable, happiest when sitting on my lap. I am also immensely pleased with the health results – not only Brera's, but those of all her examined siblings – and I truly look forward to everything our shared life will bring next.
