About us

Golden childhood of one little girl

Although this website is originally dedicated to Flat coated retrievers and our Signifer kennel, our story actually began much earlier – over two and half decades ago. I don't know why, but as a six-year-old girl, my only thoughts revolved around a pack of Golden retrievers accompanying me at every step I took. That is probably an ordinary dream for many children, but not everyone pursues it as persistently as I did.

Therefore, in 2001, Golden retrievers became an inseparable part of our family. The founder of Forever my kennel Zita Chlupate stesti, our main star – successful and famous JCh. DualCh. Kreizy Chlupate stesti and finally the most beautiful Kreizy's daughter Be Ever and Forever my. Kreizy, together with her brothers, belonged to the most outstanding individuals of her generation of Golden Retrievers in the Czech Republic, as they achieved both championship titles in beauty and field trials. At that time, my teenage self sincerely believed I held the key to breeding exactly the type of Golden Retrievers I had always dreamed of.

I mean… it may sound crazy, but Kreizy was special. She had a talent for hunting work that you rarely see, she literally read my mind, delivered 100% performances in all hunting exams, was always there when I needed her, and I am not afraid to say that she was my once-in-a-lifetime dog. Those were truly the days of success.

Nevertheless, misfortune never comes alone... Kreizy developed mammary cancer at the age of six, and little Ever suffered such an unfortunate fall at just three months of age that she remained "only" a beloved family companion. Even back then, I began to sense that if I could not continue Kreizy's bloodline, I probably did not want to continue with Goldens at all. In 2017, when I allowed myself – for the only time in my life – to leave my dogs for a month because of a medical internship, my mother called one day and said: "You should come home. Kreizy won't make it much longer…" I managed to come home the same day, but that day definitely marked the end of one chapter of our family's life.

From Golden retrievers to Flatcoats

They say time heals all wounds… It took a few years, the transition from a carefree childhood in my hometown to adulthood, but my dreams remained the same, so I decided to pursue them again. Because life without dogs is missing something truly important to me.

And so, after years of considering the most suitable breed, hundreds of hours spent choosing and waiting for the "right" combination, dozens of exchanged messages, one nerve-wracking week on the road, and exactly 3,000 kilometres, our Bubba (Bubbell's All Eyes On Me) joined us on Valentine's Day 2021. An enthusiastic, elegant, empathetic, and hard-working future winner of practically everything we decided to do with her.

Shortly afterwards, in the summer of 2021, Auriga (Auriga Ledove more) also came into our lives to make them even happier and fuller. A calm, absolutely easy-going, and unusually intelligent liver beauty, she has repeatedly succeeded in defeating black competitors, proving that liver Flatcoats have their rightful place in breeding as well as in the show ring.

Like yin and yang, perfectly complementing each other, these two flat coated girls showed me that it is always darkest before the dawn. They brought joy back into our home and, with it, renewed all my plans to breed in the best possible way – responsibly, thoughtfully, and with my whole heart.

And it is precisely Brera (Brera Signifer) who represents the very first generation of this renewed effort to breed as responsibly as possible. She is the tangible result of years of learning, patience, and deliberate choices – a young liver female raised with respect for health, character, working ability, and true breed type. Brera is not just "the next dog" in the line, but a symbol of a long-term vision: to build a line based on knowledge, honesty, and love for the breed, where every decision has meaning and every puppy is born with purpose.
